Thornburgh 6 Daily Log 5-30-08

LaVenture meeting on June 2. (for upcoming LaVenture students and parents) Students have a packet that needs to be filled out and taken to the meeting Monday night. If you can not attend the meeting, bring the form back on Monday and Mrs. Thornburgh will get it to LaVenture.

 

We still need  a chaperone or two for our trip to Wild Waves.  Please let me know if you can come.

 

AVID interviews for Mt. Baker are Monday.

 

This morning, those of us going to LaVenture next year, went on a field trip to the school. Those of us going to Mt. Baker stayed here.  We watched “Are You Smarter than a 5^th  Grader”.  When the LaVenture folks returned we worked on being smarter than a sixth grader with our number sense math problems.  After lunch, we had a class meeting.  Lots of things happening in the last two weeks of school. We then had an assembly.  We watch a dance group from Western Washington University do a presentation about Science.  Was very interesting.
